My fascination for photography blossomed after being exposed to it by Louis Loo – the professional photographer and friend who shot my wedding day event and dinner. It didn’t help that a particular Ronan Shee was influential in convincing me in getting a DSLR. Having gotten my camera, I felt compelled to pass on Ronan’s legacy by influencing other project members to follow suit (read Aloysious). The DLSR phenomenon became semi-viral and before long, a group of us became DSLR wielding amateurs hungry to shoot just about anything.
Of late, my focus has been more on crafting images of our little baby Ryan, hence this photoblog’s images will be somewhat toddler-heavy. I aim to balance the tilt by trying my hand at abstract imagery and of course, to paint with light, the images captured at events, gatherings and in my quite solace – landscapes.
